Assistance in immigration processes for Miskitos in the US
From 2021 to date, at least 200 migrant families in the United States of Florida and Texas have been supported with the following actions:
-Identification of host families to locate recently arrived migrants.
-Training on steps to access parole, employment permits and/or political asylum.
-Technical support, case by case, in filling out forms and sending applications.
-Connection for individual telephone consultations about your immigration processes.
-Support in translations and printing of documents.
The investment in this project has been 12 thousand dollars

Rescue and pride of the Miskito culture:
-Contests with children and young people on knowledge of the Miskito language.
-Food fairs.
-Publication of traditional stories and tales.
-Presentations of folkloric dances.
Education of young Miskitos
-Scholarships to continue secondary school studies.
-Scholarships to enter university.
-Vocational tutoring.
Organization
-Convening and organizing the community in each city.
-Census of Miskito communities and creation of database.
-Project formulation.
-Updating and maintaining the website.
